We are NOT a huge faceless corporation. Ogallala Bay Rum is a small (but steadily growing) business run by two families with a few dedicated employees who help us out as well!

It started in 2006 when the founder couldn’t find a bay rum reminiscent of his youth. After 130 versions created in the family basement, he came up with a bay rum cologne that quickly became one of the fastest selling bay rums on the market.

Obviously, we outgrew the basement long ago. Ogallala Bay Rum products have been sold in over 40 countries, a number of retail stores across the country, and in three national catalogs. The product line has grown to over three dozen products with more on the way. We’d love to have you as part of our story!
