September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.  A month dedicated to bringing awareness to this often ignored and stigmatized subject.  We hope this project will raise awareness and spark a conversation surrounding the importance of mental health and wellness.

Unlike many causes of death, Suicide can be prevented.  We can work together to ease the suffering of those within our reach. Suicide prevention is truly a community effort that requires friends, families, co-workers, and community members to work together.  Our most valuable resource is each-other.

Our message is simple; You are not alone.  If you are thinking about suicide or are concerned about someone else, don’t stay silent.  Help is available 24/7 to talk, answer questions, and assist you in navigating challenging situations.  Help is a phone call away!

We have chosen the following charities to receive our donations:

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (USA).  The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States. Canadian Mental Health Association PEI (Canada).  The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), founded in 1918, is one of the oldest voluntary organizations in Canada. Once again, we wanted to do something very special for this project . Jason recommended a cologney scent and I was all for that. I wanted a scent which would appeal to everyone, not polarizing or experimental, just something everyone would love. I believe this scent is a perfect follow up to our previous Barbershop offering.
