The sandalwood is creamy, astonishingly natural, and gloriously deep, the vetiver woody, soft, and delicate, with just the right amount of rasp to give the fragrance texture. Supporting this lovely pair are notes of nutmeg, oakmoss, vetiver, precious woods, bergamot, rosewood, balsam, geranium, leather (obviously), pepper, tonka bean, and opoponax. The overall effect is transformative, transcendent: this is the leather of the 1920s, brought to the modern age and polished to a gloriously elegant shine.
