The Merkur Classic 1904 Double-Edge Safety Razor is ideal for those who are new to wet shaving. This razor makes an excellent addition to a starter kit. Featuring a vintage design handle, this stylish piece has the same head as the Merkur 34HD or the 38C and is one of our favorites.
Compatible with all double edge standard blades (i.e. Merkur, Feather, Astra and Derby). Many of our first-time customers decide to purchase a razor blade sampler with their first DE razor as a practical way to determine which blade brand is best suited to their skin type, style of shaving and razor type, before making a purchase of a large quantity of blades.
