Pearl - Flexi Adjustable Open Comb Double Edge Safety Razor - Matte Finish

The razor is very heavy. I see this as a great thing. All brass coated in their 3 coat process. The razor being an open comb is of course more aggressive than the closed comb. It can bite so use a steady hand and a light touch to start with. After a few months with it in my rotation it has become my closest shaving razor. Yes I have an R41. I use it 3 passes a light touch and the right angle. It does fantastic when you figure it out. BBS every time. I shave on setting 6. Again very close shaving on 6 and I definitely would not recommend it to a beginner or someone who only has a few months shaving with DE razors. I have been shaving since 1974 with a DE. It's all we had at my house then. Dad shaved with a FatBoy and so I did too. Best shave of my life with a DE. Get one learn it and use it. It works very well. I collect razors. This will stay in my collection always. Oh. This isn't my smoothest shave but it is my closest.
